Almost bug season

Bug season, in my mind, is when flying critters swirl around my face interrupting vision, thought, speech. And when I start to apply Deep Woods Off like aftershave lotion. Have used this product since I was 6 but noticed that the percentage of Deet dropped from about 70 percent (in the late 70's) to 25 percent in the 2020's... Wonder why. Timing of this scent depends on the weather, sometimes, though the calendar says it's Spring, am told a snowstorm is expected this weekend. If only it would get cold and remove the flying annoyances but that almost never happens. If we ever meet now you know what that scent is.
